Valu Storage Killeen Charitable Efforts
In addition to providing clean, quality and affordable storage in Bell County, Valu Storage in Killeen also believes in giving back to the community in which we live and work. Through allocating funds from our business, and with the much appreciated help of local volunteers, we work together with numerous charitable organizations to provide relief for military service members and their families, educate our youth, and promote faith and financial education both locally and globally.
Wounded Warriors
Every Thanksgiving, the management of Valu Storage works to help feed families of Wounded Warriors and US Veterans that are in need. A percentage of each new storage rental goes toward these efforts to help ensure that our US Military Service Members and their families do not go hungry.
In 2014, the managers of Valu Storage, with the aid of several highly appreciated community volunteers, helped to feed more than 220 men, women and children facing tough times in Central Texas. We look forward to many more years of serving our community and local military families throughout the holiday season and the whole year.
Youth Literacy
Valu Storage works with public schools in Central Texas to help implement elementary literacy programs in order to reduce high school dropout rates. Providing for and encouraging reading and writing skills at a young age helps ensure that our children grow up to have bright futures.
Missionary Support
Our storage facility provides financial support for Christian Missionaries working in the United States, and overseas in Asia and South America. From building schools and churches to providing medical care and education, Christian Missionaries offer a wide range of valuable services throughout our nation and across the globe, and our self storage in Killeen proudly supports their efforts.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University
Valu Storage supports and encourages the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University, a biblically-based and spiritually-focused curriculum that educates people on how to handle their money and manage debt. Promoting financial stability helps to ensure prosperity not only within participating members and families of the Financial Peace program, it also encourages a healthy economy overall.
